J’ai toujours aimé dessiner, photographier, observer la nature et m’extasier. Du loisir à l’occupation à plein temps, s’écoulent une enfance en Egypte, des études de traduction et des années d’expatriation en famille. En 2012, je décide de m’y mettre sérieusement en m’inscrivant en cours de gravure-techniques de monotype à la Glassell School of Art à Houston (Texas). Une découverte coup de coeur devenue passion.
Les reflets dans l’eau, la ramure d’un arbre, la finesse d’une fleur ou encore les objets d’un vieux chalet s’invitent désormais en souvenir sur le papier. Je réalise mes gravures en utilisant les techniques de l’aquatinte, du monotype, de la linogravure et du carton gravé. En peinture, j’ai une prédilection pour les natures mortes et le monde végétal.

Like many, she has always loved drawing and taking pictures. Admiring nature and her surroundings in a painterly manner has been a pleasing and overpowering habit for a long time. From leisure drawing to full-time occupation, there was a childhood in Egypt, academic studies in translation in Paris and 12 years of living abroad with her husband and two boys. In 2012, it was about time to learn with professional artists, and then enrolled in printmaking classes at the Glassell School of Art of Houston (USA). She had an immediate crush for this art.
Mirroring waters, the majestic crown of a tree, the sophistication of a flower, or even antiques found in an old chalet imprint their memory on art paper. She uses various techniques: aquatint, monotype, linocut, and engraved cardboard. In painting, she has a preference for still life and the vegetal world.
